Description
This is the capstone course for the Level 3 Program and Management Analysis Certificate of Accomplishments. Participants in this hands-on workshop use the tools, concepts and knowledge learned in earlier courses to synthesize information and analyze data to form and justify intelligent recommendations. Participants also prepare and present a methodical plan to conduct a study with data.
This course is part of the Certificate of Accomplishment in Program and Management Analysis
This course replaces Management Analysis: Advanced Applications (PGMT9000) in the Certificate of Accomplishment in Program and Management Analysis.
Who Should Attend?
Prerequisites: It is important to complete the following courses before registering for this course – Designing an Analytical Study (PGMT8005), Data Analysis and Storytelling (PGMT8050) and Tools for Management Analysis (PGMT7006).
- Individuals who have completed all other requirements for the Program and Management Analysis Level 3 certificate
- Experienced analysts seeking to reinforce analytical assessment and decision-making skills
- Experienced leaders and decision makers who are comfortable evaluating data to form a course of action
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Use critical thinking to synthesize information and analyze data.
- Make recommendations based directly on data findings.
- Use logical, systematic thinking to prepare a data presentation characterizing findings and recommendations.
- Develop a study proposal with research questions, tasks, and a timeline.
- Identify and develop data collection methods and instruments.
