Posted on Sep 08, 2017
Graduate School USA (GSUSA) will kick off the Training Officers Consortium’s (TOC) annual Professional Development Series on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the Fort Leslie J. McNair Officers’ Club in Washington, D.C.
The series runs from September 2017 through June 2018 and consists of ten monthly luncheons with lectures and workshops featuring specialists in human resource development, education, technology, economics, business, political science, and personal development.
GSUSA instructor, Dr. Carolyn Hines, will be the featured presenter for the luncheon and will deliver a presentation titled “From Peer to Leader,” which will focus on how to navigate the process of supervising former peers.
For more than 20 years, Dr. Hines served as President and co-owner of C&W Associates, Inc., a Newport News, Virginia-based human resources development corporation employing 300 plus persons. Her real-world leadership experience is invaluable to her students in GSUSA’s distinguished Center for Leadership and Management (CLM).
