Graduate School USA was pleased to be a premiere partner at the 2017 Training Officers Consortium (TOC) Annual Institute on April 30 – May 3, 2017 in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Our presence allowed us to learn more about the real-world challenges that our agency partners face every day, as well as the impact that the changing federal landscape is having on them and their staff, including:

• Career Resilience and Change Management strategies for managers and their staff

• Reducing training costs

• How to integrate workforce planning efforts into training and development strategies

• Leveraging technology in order to deliver flexible training courses

• Tracking cost, benefit, and performance data for training programs

Transition Management was also a topic of discussion at the Institute, as attendees looked for ways to recognize and better understand how new opportunities, greater innovation and ultimate success can evolve from change.

GSUSA instructor Natalya Bah presented an informative session on “Action Learning,” using the context of how we incorporate Action Learning into our team projects as part of our long-term development program activities. TOC provides a wonderful backdrop to meet and engage federal trainers and other professionals from the private sector and academic communities who support the federal training community and to learn about key issues, all of which have a hand in supporting the successful completion of every agency’s mission.

For 95 years, Graduate School USA has been government’s learning partner and the leader in federal training, delivering superior workforce solutions that promote positive individual and organizational results. Graduate School USA and TOC have a partnership that spans nearly two decades, sharing the same commitment to your success.

We are excited about the many new partnerships that are being formed as a result of this year’s successful Institute. As always, we will continue to work with TOC to make government more effective and efficient.
