Course overview

For decades, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) instrument has helped millions of people worldwide understand how to more effectively communicate and interact with co-workers, bosses, direct reports, family members, et al. The assessment is key to understanding the differences among personality types and improving communication in work and personal relationships.
Based on Isabel Myers' unique implementation of Carl Jung's theory of psychological type, the MBTI® instrument determines individual preferences in four dimensions: Extroversion-Introversion, Sensing-Intuition, Thinking-Feeling and Judging-Perceiving. The various combinations of these preferences result in 16 unique personality types.
